The spring kit provides the springs and clips that retain a universal joint assembly, holding the joint located under load. Missing retention lets the joint move and wear its bore. Correct kit for your assembly is what makes the parts fit.
These are replaced whenever a joint is serviced.
Standard-duty U-joint assemblies are exceptionally lightweight, while remaining very durable. Black anodized billet aluminum units are offered with choice of 16 or 32-spline with four-bolt flanges, are fitted with Spicer U-joints, and mate to the rear of Chevy or Chrysler engines. Sold complete with premium fasteners.
