Nerf bars keep other cars' tires off your wheels, which is the difference between a rub and a flip in close racing. They must take a hit and stay attached without folding into the tire. Swedged ends fit the chassis cleanly, and side-specific designs match the mounting points.
These earn their keep in traffic, so replacements are a routine purchase.
Fabricated from 1 Inch O.D. stainless steel, 4130 chromoly, or aluminum. Bumpers and nerfs feature specially swedged ends to fit easily into the chassis.
